About the Hooded Pocket Scarf

This hooded pocket scarf is perfect for cold weather because it is long enough to use the pockets while the scarf is doubled around your neck. The hood looks good up or down, it never looks like the scarf is hanging off your head. I’ve actually used the pocket as a cup holder when I needed my hands free to help one of my kids with something. You’ve got to love multi-use pockets!

I love a hooded pocket scarf layered with a light jacket, because it can keep you really warm when you’re outside but it’s easy to take of when you go inside. Layering knits is one of my favorites because there’s no such thing as too many knits. Try layering this scarf with a sweater and tell me I’m wrong!

The scarf is knit in one piece from end to end, with the pockets and hood folded and seamed together at the end. I used Cascade 220 for my sample and it’s extra warm.
